Build the Path this Summer!

To say this has been a unusual school year would be a huge understatement. For our children to maintain focus during remote learning and respond to so many changing circumstances has been no easy feat! The end of this year has our R CITY kids eager to welcome a summer FULL of FUN- and almost back to "normal."

• Dreambuilders in grades K-5 will experience 6 weeks of summer camp five days a week filled with enrichment and fun!

• Summer camp children will enjoy weekly field trips around Chicago and time outside in local parks.

• Junior High Peacebuilders will be enjoying a new mural project for Art Shop.

• Harambee Citybuilders will be at full capacity with 3 crews working on subsidized tuckpointing projects throughout Humboldt Park.

We're praying for $100,000 in summer funding to fill up R CITY with day camp kids, tween artists, and teen apprentices. Our summer programs kick off soon, and we're anticipating a safe return to full capacity. Even with updated safety guidelines in hand, WE ARE THRILLED!
