Thanks a TON to Illinois Brick Company!

Before our spring tuckpointing program, this winter our teens and young adults of Harambee benefitted from our very first brick laying course from a masonry instructor in our AMAZING training space.

A very special thank you is due to Illinois Brick Company for their donation of 3 pallets of bricks used for this class- which will be used many times over in future classes. They LITERALLY provided TONS of resources for our Harambee apprentices- over 3 TONS to be exact- that they loaded in a U-Haul for program use. This support from a community partner provided for an invaluable training opportunity for our apprentices, in learning one more skill masons posses. We are so thankful for their partnership and generosity!
